Summary
Perform all repairs on medium and all makes of heavy duty truck and trailer systems.
Job Description:
Recieve repair orders electronically on company supplied I-pad. Document repairs, repair procedures and parts in electronic repair orders.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair using computerized software such as JPRO, Navistar Blue Diamond Logic, Bendix Acom Diagnostic Software, TEXA HD, Meritor WABCO Electronic Toolbox, IDSS for Isuzu, IDS for Ford, Autel, Hino Software, Peterbilt Software, Cummins Insite and Quickserve Online, and Detroit Diesel Software.
Utilize wiring schematics to trace out shorts and other electronic issues.
Troubleshoot and repair DEF, DPF, EGR issues. Repair all Exhaust issues.
Repair Drivelines, Rear-ends, and Chassis issues.
Repair Air and Spring Suspension issues.
Troubleshoot and repair Air Intake Systems including Turbo Chargers and intercoolers.
Troubleshoot and repair Engine Cooling Systems including Clutch Fans and Radiators.
Troubleshoot and repair Vehicle Air Conditioning issues.
Troubleshoot and repair Engine, Clutch and Transmission issues.
Troubleshoot and repair Fuel Systems including high pressure oil pumps.
Troubleshoot and repair all Hydrualic and Air Brake issues.
Perform NYS Inspections, DOT Inspections and Preventative Maintenance Inspections.
Replace and program computer systems including but not limited to ECM, CPC, AMU, ECU, PCM, ACM, TCM.
Work on Freightliner, International, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Hino, Ford, Mack, GMC/Chevy, Ottawa, Trailers.
Repair Liftgates, Hydraulics, Doors and Corner Caps.
Repair Lighting Issues.
Test drive all vehciles after repairs.
Qualifications:
5+ years experience
NYS Inspectors License or ability to earn it within 3 months of employment
CDL preferred.
Clean driving record.
Shift Schedule:
