K&M Truck Repair was founded in 2000 by Peter McCabe, a gifted mechanic with a passion for trucks and helping people get back on the road. In 2002, his wife Angel joined him as a partner, and together they built more than just a business — they built a legacy.

Peter was a mechanic extraordinaire, and Angel brought a vision for growth and innovation. Over the next 23 years, Angel worked her way through every role in the company — from Service Advisor and Parts Manager to HR, Accounting, Marketing, Trainer, and General Manager. She even became what she calls an “armchair mechanic,” learning alongside Peter from day one. In the early days, it wasn’t unusual to find Angel under a truck on a creeper, learning about diagnostics and defects so she could better serve customers and support the team. The dinner table often doubled as a strategy hub for tackling tough mechanical challenges.

Today, Angel leads K&M Truck Repair as sole owner, committed to carrying forward Peter’s dream with integrity and drive. Under her leadership, the business continues to grow — with new equipment, improved shop ergonomics, ongoing technician training, and an expanding team.

What hasn’t changed is the heart of the company: a commitment to quality work and personal care for every customer who walks through the door. At K&M Truck Repair, Peter’s legacy lives on — and the road ahead is strong.
